Marketing is the most basic function of the organization. The purpose
of business is to create customers, and encourage customers to a
repeat purchase. Marketing performs these important functions and
more.
Having said this, it is imperative that Marketing should not be in the
confines of the marketing department. It should be part a function and
responsibility of all the members of the organization.
