Having the experience, ability,  and above all, the passion to contribute to the Chamber Board of Directors..ready, willing and able.

 

  • Recruited potential pre-Chamber members since relocating to Subic in 1993;
  • Created SBFCC Articles of Incorporation and By Laws; registered with SEC and became an incorporator as well as founding “mother” in 1995;
  • Served as SBFCC Executive Director for 17 years;
  • Worked under 7 individual SBFCC Presidents;
  • Conversant with almost every SBMA, DOLE, BIR rule and regulation applicable within the Freeport;
  • Chaired and co-chaired several SBFCC committees during that time eg. Business Development, Security, Elections, Liaison, Disaster Relief, Membership;
  • Have liaised with almost every senior official since SBMA’s inception.
  • With the recent change in SBMA’s Management team, improvement in all matters relevant to investors and residents will be anticipated;
  • Good working knowledge of the current “pulse” of local and national politics;
  • Assisted in hands-on research and statistical information required in preparation of several SBFCC position papers and created drafts for others, subject to SBFCC Board approval;
  • Constantly marketed for new SBFCC members;
  • Handled members’ concerns individually with SBMA or elevated to Board for further action as necessary;
  • Was approved by Philippine Retirement Authority as official marketing rep to the Chamber;
  • Created a MOA between SBFCC, SBMA and PRA to encourage foreign national residential retirement growth in SBFZ;
  • Liaised with American, Canadian, British, Australian and Israel Chambers of Commerce; enrolled in the World Chamber Network;
  • Attended SBFCC Disaster Relief distributions of food & medical supplies to typhoon-affected recipients locally and in other areas in Luzon;
  • Managed SBFCC fundraising, blood drives, golf tournaments, mixers.
  • Managed content of monthly SBFCC newsletters;
  • Attended annual Arankada meetings with Philippine Presidents, sponsored by AmCham;
  • Attended regular ongoing meetings with CILA for a continuing symbiotic relationship;
