The DOTr released Department Order 2020-012 that requires “motorists using toll expressways to engage in cashless or contactless transactions.” In an advisory, the Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC) which operates NLEX and SCTEX, said it will implement 100 per cent radio-frequency identification (RFID) in all its toll lanes starting November 2, 2020.
